SPRING BREAK FASHION! |
| |
MARCH 20, 2010 |
| |
Bright colors. Floral prints. Sandals... Spring has Sprung! Although Chicago reached 65 degrees earlier this week, it snowed today. Go figure. However, if you're lucky enough to escape to somewhere warm this spring break make sure you are trendy and embracing the spring! Some of my favorites about spring and 2010 fashion are...
Rompers: my mom gets excited every time she sees me in a once piece romper because she says "Thats exactly what we wore back when i was younger!" They're comfortable, they're flattering if you don't have that ideal summer bod yet and they're versatile!
Leotards: again, my mom gets excited! However, leotards are worth getting excited about. They're so simple and sexy. They don't require wearing a bra and they look good for day or night!
Sparkle swim wear: Its time to break out the swim suit you had when you were 12, except much sexier! =) Pink glitter, black glitter, silver or gold.

OPI Nail polish and Alice in wonderland teamed up to create a mind blowing, glitter infused collection of paints. The colors are bright but will indeed make for noticeable fingers!
In addition, Urban Decay has created an outstanding make-up pallet that is bold yet gorgeous. The shadows have flawless colors and glitter flecks. The collection also comes with 16 shades and a mini eye pencil! and primer.

CINDERELLA |
| |
FEBRUARY 28, 2010 |
| |
February 2010 is a time of love and The Joffrey ballet thought of no better way to celebrate than a classic love story. Cinderella! The performance was elegant from start to finish, the costumes were beautiful and fashionable in every way. Pink, purple, green & yellow glitter and fairy dust all filled the stage from start to finish.
The show was separated into three acts each one better than the last. From fairy god mothers to prince charming the show was filled with classic fairy tale essence.
If fashion and fairytale are something you look forward to then head to the Joffrey Ballet once upon a time...

BOOTS FOR WINTER! |
| |
NOVEMBER 1, 2009 |
| |
When I step outside my south loop condo door during the Chicago winter, I want the shoe I'm wearing to be comfortable, warm and waterproof. Trends for this winter seem to be in my favor! The boots I have been seeing are a combination of low heel leather, flat suede or leather boots.
BCBGeneration has a great collection of boots this fall. The ones pictured above happen to be my favorite! They are comfortable, cute and are practical for cold, wet winters like in Chicago.

POLISH YOUR WAY TO FASHION! |
| |
APRIL 6, 2009 |
| |
Although I spend nearly the hours of a part time job painting my nails each week, I understand that not everyone does. So here's the skinny if you want trendy nails...bright colors! I'm talking neon bright! You cannot go wrong with obnoxiously bright colors because it is almost a guarantee that they will NOT match with your outfit. I prefer neon pink, purple or orange, but if you are feeling earthy.. green is nice too! So next time you are thinking about painting your nails look for bright colors and you will be sure to catch some complements!
